How these work:

3. Pay the difference (amount over $25, plus tax and tip)
The last certificate we used had a minimum purchase of $35, so for our family to eat we paid:
$3 for the gift certificate
+$10.xx for the remaining amount after the $25 certificate was applied
+$6.50 tip (based on whole check amount)
